What are the differences between private and group lessons?
Private lessons are personalized; we can meet your specific needs or goals and can customize the program to match your skill development. Private lessons work well for those who are self-motivated, prefer not to work in a group, may have a specific plan in mind or have a fluctuating schedule. Private lessons are typically ideal for focused, precise instruction with fewer distractions and generally fit well for those who are more advanced in their skills.
Group lessons offer instruction in a more social setting. Students follow a set curriculum and learn through practice, discussion and the perspective of others. Group lessons allow students to learn with friends or family, or meet others and are more affordable. Many students who are in the earlier stages of skill development find group lessons to be comfortable.
